About Our Library
The college has an excellent and well-furnished Library with a fine collection of books, periodicals, and e-resources. It was established in the year 1961. It is situated on the third floor of the college. The college library caters to the information needs of its students and the faculty. Every year new additions are added to the library. It provides open access facilities to the users for better access to library materials. The library is fully computerized using SLIM21 library software.
The library remains open from 8 AM to 4.30 PM to the users except for Sundays and public holidays. During examinations, two classrooms on the ground floor are kept open till 11 PM for students interested in studying after library hours.

Events
The College Library conducts orientation programme for the students in the beginning of the academic year. The main objective of the library orientation is to introduce the library rules, facilities, resources, services and search techniques to the students. It helps to familiarize students with the available library resources, their location, and technique to locate them, library services and facilities offered by the Library and its rules and procedures. Students are also trained to search Online Catalogue (OPAC) of the Library.
The College Library organizes Book Talk for the students to promote reading habits among them.
The college Library organizes Books Exhibition on a regular basis. It also organizes in-house Book Exhibition to create awareness among the users about the library collection.

- Indulging in undisciplined activities which has hardship, physical, psychological harm.
- Any act asked to do which will not be in ordinary course and that generates shame, embarrassment to student..
- Disrupts regular academic activity of student.
- Physical abuse (Sexual, homosexual, stripping, obscene, lewd act etc) to student.
- Financial extortion on student.
- Any other act that may come under the ambit of ragging under UGC, government and court of law guidelines.
